Ideation is the creative process of generating, developing, and communicating new ideas, where an idea is understood as a basic element of thought that can be either visual, concrete, or abstract. Ideation comprises all stages of a thought cycle, from innovation to development, to actualization.

Good art isn’t static. It’s dynamic, emotional. Good art moves. As such, good art-makers know how to move people. And the best art, we can all agree, is the kind that moves, yes? And yet, before the maker can move anyone else, she must first be moved herself.
The good news?  You were made for this.

The only way we transform, the only way become better people, and the only way we become better artists is through the crucible know as self-reflection.
Making better only happens from the inside out. 

When you’re beginning something, blue sky the hell out of it. There are no bad ideas. Spitball your heart out till the day is long gone.

But then something else needs to happen with that pile of ideas in the middle of the table. And it this moment, staring at all the possibilities, that separates the real artists from the amateurs. What we do next with the bounty of choices separates the good humans from the great ones.
